Date Look

Greeting bloggers!! So yesterday I had a lunch date. I felt like trying something a little different.. So I did my hair and makeup outta the norm for me.. (see pics) I have to admit, I had fun with the whole thing.. It's always good to experiment outta Ur comfort zone.. Well on to what I did..

Hair: 

Blew it out and then curled. All products used are from the Aussie line.

Heat protecting Shine spray.

Spit-end Protector.

Smoothing serum.

Spray gloss.

Babyliss Pro curling iron.

And that's the hair!!

When bad makeup happens to good people!

Afternoon bloggers! So you ever see a picture of someone and everything in the picture is amazing.. Then u look at the woman's face and BAM! Her Makeup Artist did a crappy job.. Here are some examples!

All I have to say about these photos is: WTF??????????????????????????????????????????? How could a MUA let their client go out like this or even do a half ass job like that??

Now here is my worst makeup jobs ever!

DONT JUDGE ME!! Lol, I was in school learning how to become a makeup artist at the time of these pix and was playing w color!!!! lol

Makeup Brushes

Good morning all. So this blog was request by my friend, Vanessa. She was over her Moms house yesterday and went to use her blush brush and well was in utter shock (so was I) Why? well picture -->

I was lost for words.. I was actually looking around the room in the pic bcuz i refused to believe that was the brush, lol.. So on to the tips and info about makeup brushes!

Makeup brushes come in all shapes, sizes, color, real animal hair or synthetic. The biggest lie about makeup brushes is, the more expensive the brush ( i e MAC) the better it is and the better your makeup will look.. Not true. I have brushes from MAC down to ELF and I like all of them. It's all on personal preference . Most of my everyday go to brushes are from Sigma. I love these brushes! 

This was the closes one to me, but anyways.. On to taking care of the brushes you have!

Now before you EVER use a brush you want to clean them! (down blow you'll see a list of that I use to clean my brushes) After you clean & dry them they are use able.Now u want to clean your brush religiously bcuz these are tools that touch your face. U want to make sure they are germ free! 

Products I use to Clean my brushes:

Spot cleaning(lite daily cleaning) Makeup wipe and or MAC brush cleaner, a tiny bit.

Deep cleaning(once a week) Antibacterial soap( most ppl use baby shampoo, but I'm a major germaphobe when it comes to my face) a type of oil, must people use extra virgin olive oil. I only use oil on a brush that I uses a cream or liquid foundation on that I didn't clean right away. A paper towel or towel, I use paper towels to set them on after I've clean them for the simple fact that 1, they are already clean and never used before 2, they are disposable!

Makeup brushes are an investment.  And like any other investment, we want a great return on that investment.  One of best ways to ensure that will happen is proper brush care.
